GROWTH VITAMINS.

  Proper nutrition is essential for children’s growth and development.  While a balanced diet rich in whole foods should provide the necessary vitamins and minerals, there are a few key vitamins that play a significant role in supporting growth in children: Vitamin D:  Vitamin D is essential for bone health and plays a crucial role in calcium absorption and utilization. It helps promote proper bone growth and development. The primary source of vitamin D is sunlight, and it can also be obtained from foods such as fatty fish (e.g., salmon, mackerel), fortified dairy products, and fortified cereals. In some cases, a vitamin D supplement may be recommended, especially in regions with limited sunlight exposure or for children at risk of deficiency.
